Turn.AI

HR Tech PaaS

Turn AI is a venture-backed tech startup focused on the HR industry with a B2B platform for predictive modeling and operational efficiencies.  At Turn, I wore several hats and produced varied brand-centric content from video to a website overhaul, public relations and thought leadership campaigns, social media management, product one-sheets and demand generation campaigns.

Cloudreach, an Atos Company

AWS, Azure, Google Cloud

At the time, Cloudreach was the largest independent cloud consultancy focused on public cloud services with AWS, Google and Azure. Upon my hiring, the Global Digital Marketing Director resigned, leaving me to take over Web Development and SEO, Social Media, Influencer Marketing and liaison with Marketing Operations on-site translation and Marketo transition projects. In the meantime, I owned content strategy. I created an editorial calendar to produce a staggering amount of content, including 25 podcasts and over 25 combined web pages, landing pages, case studies and reports.

HolderComm

B2B Tech Go-To-Market Strategies and Content Development

In this all-encompassing role, I managed client deliverables for B2B technology companies with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS products. Major projects included EMC/Dell-owned Virtustream (2014-2018) case studies, training, analyst relations, and communications; Avago/Broadcom-owned LSI (2008-2014) networking, storage, and case studies (IBM, Intel, Dell, Rackspace); and AMI and Ivanti: Cybersecurity, Toot of Trust, Zero Trust.

ISP

Web Development, Cloud Services, SEO, SEM, Social Media

In this role, I earned first-page organic rankings, led client transformation by digital strategy, owned cross-channel advertising, analytics, social media, led generation and email marketing. Improved revenue model from on-page SEO to include content marketing, off-page SEO and technical SEO offerings.

University of Georgia, Peabody Awards

Electronic Media Awards for Excellence in TV, Radio and Online Content

The International Peabody Award, administered by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications, recognizes excellence in electronic media.  In this role, I developed an in-house agency that created all program content for advertising, marketing and public relations. More to come here: I have two documentary video productions, two websites, four booklets, plus a lot of ad copy and designs featured in Variety and Hollywood Reporter.

Industrial Strength Promotions

Community Building, Consumer Activation, Influencer Marketing

If there was ever proof that every picture tells a story, it’s this one below of my team and I, the ISP Collective. In the East Atlanta Village, a long-time side project, Industrial Strength Promotions, was fully realized as musicians, graphic artists and the like pitched in to form a guerrilla marketing street team that worked with Converse, the Fader and – more importantly – our own brands. Pictured, we are gathered at the ISP Space, a multi-use venue, art gallery and record shop. Aside from my own label, ISP-Music, collaborations with Stickfigure Records and Rob’s House Records made for a great community and weekly special events culminating with the Echo Project. “Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending.” More to come.
