Among my most viewed events are the four shows produced for television. Specifically, PBS and A&E, got just over a million views for the international Peabody Award that recognizes the best digital content in electronic media. For those events, I had to not only curate show content but program booklets, promo spots and interviews. It would take and entire year to pull one event off but what a spectacle it was! Next, those glorious technology and media events where I had a booth and gave one or more presentations including the Radio and Television News Directors Association, National Association of Television Programming Executives and the National Association of Broadcasters. Other events in which I had content obligations included a key-note presentation for the Public Relations Society, Southeast Journalism Conference, Georgia Journalism Academy, National Association of Medical Communicators, American Heart Association, Association of Health Care Journalist and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Also, it’s a little known fact that I was a co-founder and producer of the first Athens Music Festival (Athefest) and director of several editions of Atlanta’s OtherSound Music Festival, probably 100+ music events. Finally, a lot of film and television events / screenings like the Atlanta Film Festival, SCAD Film Festival and Robert Osborne’s Classic Film Festival among others.
