The Making of the DNA Files

As director of communications at the University of Georgia, Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, Peabody Awards, I was awarded a $480K grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to recognize excellence in health and medical communications “electronic media” (broadcast, webcast or radio / blogs). A major part of the funding was to produce a “making of” documentary video, promoted at RTNDA, NAB, NATPE, etc.

This is the first of two making of documentaries I was in charge of producing as one of the grant deliverables. Hosted by John Hockenberry this NPR series was produced by Eric Holder.
